How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
David Lindsay began blowing glass in 1976. He was a partner in Nourot Glass Studio with Micheal Nourot and Ann Corcoran from 1982 to 1997. In 1998, David and Ann Lindsay formed Lindsay Art Glass, a California corporation, after David left the Nourot partnership. David is the gaffer who creates beautiful glass vessels while Ann Lindsay manages and markets the business. Ann graduated from JFK University with a Certificate in Accounting and a BS degree in Business with a core curriculum in financial management. She has 35 years of experience in Human Resources along with over 20 years of experience in marketing, management and bookkeeping.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
At one time, there were 5 hot glass studios in Benicia. Now, there is only one. Lindsay Art Glass has a gallery which features David Lindsay’s work and carries the work of over 40 American artists.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location at 109 East F St., Benicia, CA.

From Vallejo, take 780 East to Benicia. Take the East 2nd Street Exit. Turn left onto East Second St. Go down the hill and turn right onto Military at the stoplight. Turn left onto First St. at the next intersection. Turn left onto East F and park.
